We are seeking an experienced Director, Information Technology to lead and oversee the organization's technology operations. This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for ensuring technology is reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

The Director will have end-to-end accountability across Salesforce and business systems, IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Business Intelligence & Data, integrations and APIs, cybersecurity, IT governance, and technology vendors .

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple technology functions while managing internal teams, external partners, and managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & Business Systems

- Provide leadership and governance for the organization's Salesforce environment and business systems.
- Oversee Salesforce administration, architecture, integrations, access management, releases, production support, and system performance.
- Establish standards for development, testing, change management, and deployment.
- Manage Salesforce vendors and implementation partners.
- Ensure data quality, system reliability, and effective user access controls.
- Prioritize enhancements and technology improvements based on business needs.

IT Governance & Operations

- Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability for systems, vendors, risks, and technology processes.
- Oversee change management, incident management, risk management, and technology controls.
- Establish and monitor technology KPIs, SLAs, and reporting.
- Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Oversee the organization's Microsoft technology environment, including:




- Microsoft 365
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- SharePoint and OneDrive
- Oversee identity and access management, endpoint management, networking, cloud infrastructure, backup and recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Ensure technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, devices, software, and technology assets.
- Provide leadership for Business Intelligence and Data functions, including reporting, dashboards, data quality, and data governance.
- Oversee APIs and system integrations across Salesforce, internal platforms, clients, and partners.
- Ensure integrations are secure, documented, monitored, tested, and supported.
- Work with technical teams to resolve data and integration issues.

Cybersecurity, Privacy & Compliance

- Oversee the operational execution of cybersecurity initiatives, including access controls, endpoint security, vulnerability management, patching, monitoring, backups, and incident response.
- Manage technology-related risks and support applicable privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
- Work with Legal, Privacy, Quality, and executive leadership on technology controls and risk management.
- Experience with SOC 2 is an asset.
- Manage technology vendors, MSPs, consultants, Salesforce partners, and infrastructure providers.
- Oversee vendor contracts, licensing,



service levels, performance, and escalations.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary technology teams.
- Establish clear accountability and ensure technology issues are driven through to resolution.

Job Qualifications

- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including technology leadership and operational accountability.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing enterprise Salesforce environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, integrations, access management, releases, production support, and vendor management.
- Strong IT infrastructure experience, particularly within Microsoft cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft security technologies.
- Strong experience with IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity, change management, and business continuity.
- Experience managing technology vendors, MSPs, consultants, contracts, licensing, and budgets.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary IT or technology teams.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, enterprise data flows, and Business Intelligence.
- Solid understanding of IT service management, SLAs, KPIs, incident management, and escalation processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
- Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, patient support, or another regulated environment.
- Experience leading Business Intelligence and Data teams.
- Experience with SOC 2 implementation or operational compliance.
- Experience supporting a growing organization of 200+ employees.
