Join Simon Fraser University as the Director of Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office, leading transformative initiatives in sexualized violence education and support. This role focuses on developing comprehensive resources while fostering an inclusive university culture. The Director provides strategic leadership at SFU's Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office.

With a Master's degree and at least seven years of experience in social justice, equity, or anti-violence, this role is vital for creating a protected environment for all students. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with legislation and support victims, ensuring they have access to tailored resources. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead initiatives for sexual violence prevention and education




- Develop and implement policies in alignment with legislation
- Oversee a trauma-informed culture within the university
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders
- Ensure comprehensive support for individuals affected by sexual violence Requirements:
- Master's degree in related field
- Seven years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
- Understanding of intersectional, feminist approaches
- Familiarity with BC legislation on sexual violence Shape the future of support services at SFU while making impactful changes in the community.
