As Schneider
Electric continues to expand its presence across Canada's Mining, Metals, Cement and Glass industries, this role will play an important part in strengthening our engagement across the ecosystem.
Representing Schneider
Electric's full portfolio of power, automation, software and services solutions, you will build relationships with industry leaders, bring visibility to emerging trends and market priorities, and help identify opportunities where Schneider Electric can play a greater role in supporting the industry's evolution. Acting as a bridge between the market and the business, you will help shape strategy, influence priorities and drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how Schneider Electric engages with the Mining, Minerals & Metals sector while working closely with commercial, strategy and industry leaders across the organization.
Lead the long-term growth strategy for Schneider Electric's Mining, Minerals & Metals business in Canada. Identify emerging opportunities, evolving customer priorities and industry trends across Mining, Metals, Cement and Glass. Help define strategic priorities that support sustainable growth and long-term market relevance.
Develop trusted relationships with executive leaders across mining companies, EPCMs, OEMs, technology providers and industry associations.
Position Schneider
Electric early in customer discussions, strategic initiatives and major investment opportunities. Drive market development & Commercial growth Contribute to major pursuits, customer engagements and large-scale industrial projects. Help connect customer priorities with Schneider Electric's broad portfolio of solutions and expertise.
Monitor industry trends, investment activity, market dynamics and customer priorities. Translate market insights into recommendations that help shape business strategy, positioning and offer development. Help ensure Schneider Electric remains closely connected to the evolving needs of the industry.
Participate in industry events, conferences and customer forums. Contribute to conversations shaping the future of mining, including electrification, automation,
digital transformation and sustainability. Help position Schneider Electric as a trusted partner within Canada's Mining, Minerals & Metals sector.
A strong understanding of the Mining, Minerals & Metals sector and the forces shaping its future, including electrification, automation, digital transformation, sustainability and operational performance. The ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, industry partners and decision-makers across the mining ecosystem.
Experience identifying growth opportunities, influencing strategy and translating market insights into business priorities and commercial outcomes. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect customer challenges, industry trends and Schneider Electric's portfolio of solutions. A track record of contributing to business growth, market development, strategic initiatives, industry engagement or large-scale transformation programs.
The leadership presence to represent Schneider Electric with customers, partners, industry associations and other key stakeholders.
What Will Help You Succeed
Experience within the mining ecosystem or closely related industries such as industrial automation, energy, engineering consulting, technology, EPCM or industrial services. Familiarity with large capital projects, operational transformation, digital modernization or industrial sustainability initiatives. An established network within the Canadian Mining, Minerals & Metals sector.
A passion for understanding where the industry is heading and helping organizations navigate change. We recognize that skills and competencies can be developed through a variety of experiences, both professional and personal. The expected pay range is CAD $195,200 - CAD $292,800 per year.
