Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Help with basic meal assembly or plating as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or cleaning supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
