Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Previous experience in restaurant, kitchen, or hotel settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in food preparation and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and sanitizing surfaces
- Help with food handling and storage according to safety standards
- Support the kitchen staff in setting up and breaking down workstations before and after shifts
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Assist with serving food to customers or guests as needed




- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working setting
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients

Skills

- Experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a kitchen setting
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $17.60 per hour
