A Dispatcher schedules and coordinates drivers, technicians, or emergency personnel by assigning routes, monitoring progress, and communicating with customers and team members to ensure timely and productive service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process service requests, orders, or emergency calls.
- Schedule and assign drivers, technicians, or field personnel.
- Monitor routes and track vehicle locations using GPS or dispatch software.
- Communicate with drivers and customers regarding schedules, delays, and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and deliveries.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and respond to unexpected issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports and update operational databases.

- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with dispatch or GPS software.

Qualifications:
