Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Assess each dog’s coat condition and skin health to recommend appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle dogs safely and gently, ensuring a stress-free experience for both pet and owner
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards




- Assist with heavy lifting when handling large or heavy breeds during grooming procedures
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice
- Ensure all grooming appointments are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Skills

- Solid customer service skills to build trust and rapport with pet owners
- Experience in dog grooming or related animal care fields is preferred but not required; training available for motivated candidates
- Ability to handle dogs safely and compassionately of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy dogs, and perform detailed grooming tasks throughout the day
- Attention to detail in styling and grooming to meet breed standards and customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and providing friendly service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
