Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Canada- Remote

Duration: 6-12 months of contract with possible extension

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with over 10 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server , and modern web technologies.

This role requires active involvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to development, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, stakeholders, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Architect robust application solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, security, caching, encryption, logging, and error handling.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using ASP.NET Core and Web API.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
- Create technical documentation, architectural designs, and support materials.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug,



and optimize application performance using .NET diagnostic and profiling tools.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimations, and project delivery activities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Recommend enhancements and process improvements to improve system efficiency and business outcomes.

Required Technical Skills:

- .NET Technologies: C# 4.0+, ASP.NET 4.5, ASP.NET Core, RESTful API Development, LINQ, Entity Framework
- Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON,
- Database Technologies: SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Database Administration
- Software Engineering Concepts: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Secure Coding Practices, Application Performance Optimization, Caching Strategies, Application Monitoring & Diagnostics

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of professional experience in .NET application development.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-scale web applications.
- Experience building secure and scalable applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Robust database design and SQL Server development skills.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Hands-on experience with application troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
