Drywaller The Drywaller is responsible for the installation, finishing, repair, and preparation of drywall systems on residential and commercial construction projects. The position requires reliable attendance, valuable workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings.

- Install drywall on metal and wood framing.

- Install regular, moisture-resistant, and fire-rated drywall as required.

- Install corner bead, backing, and related drywall accessories.

- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to the required finish level when assigned.

- Complete drywall patches, repairs, and deficiencies.

- Follow drawings, site instructions, and supervisor direction.

- Maintain straight, level, properly fastened installations.

- Protect completed work and surrounding finishes from damage.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and dispose of drywall waste appropriately.





- Follow all site safety requirements and use required PPE.

- Coordinate with other trades to avoid damage or interference with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.

- Report site conditions, material shortages, or construction issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

- Previous drywall or general construction experience preferred.

- Ability to safely use drywall tools, drills, screw guns, knives, measuring equipment, and related tools.

- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting drywall and working from ladders or scaffolding.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional attitude on site.

- Strong attention to quality and workmanship.

- Knowledge of basic construction and job-site safety practices.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
