Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Drywall Installer and Drywall Taper, where your skills will bring interior spaces to life with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall panels, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing surfaces to create smooth, flawless walls and ceilings. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality construction projects, ensuring structures are both functional and aesthetically appealing.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in drywall installation, finishing techniques, and related trades.

Duties

- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Tape joints and seams using joint compound (mud) to create seamless wall surfaces
- Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional appearance
- Apply caulking around edges and joints for a clean finish and enhanced durability
- Assist with construction painting and touch-ups to ensure a polished final look
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and finishing processes

Requirements





- Union Member Local 675 or Local1824
- Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, or finishing within the construction industry
- Basic carpentry skills with the ability to read technical instructions
- Knowledge of construction install insulation, drywall , tape, painting, caulking, and general handyman tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with drywall materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
