B-Smart Learning Center is seeking a strong, qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our Hollick Kenyon Campus, supporting our Toddler and Junior Pre-K programs.

At B-Smart, we believe the early years should be filled with purposeful play, exploration, creativity, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to learn. We are looking for an educator who brings energy into the classroom, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and understands that exceptional early childhood education requires much more than simply supervising children.

The Educator We Are Looking For

- You are an educator who is present, engaged, observant, and intentional.
- You enjoy getting down to children's level, joining their play, extending their curiosity, supporting emerging independence, and turning everyday experiences into meaningful learning opportunities.
- You also understand that a strong classroom depends on consistency, organization, teamwork, active supervision, and accountability.
- Your Role at B-Smart

As part of our Toddler and Junior Pre-K team, you will:
- Create a warm, welcoming and well-organized classroom environment
- Maintain active supervision and meaningful engagement throughout the day
- Plan and implement hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, physical and self-help development
- Encourage curiosity, independence, confidence and positive peer relationships
- Observe children's interests and use them to extend learning
- Support smooth transitions, meals, outdoor experiences, toileting/diapering and rest routines
- Maintain high standards of classroom cleanliness, health and safety




- Complete required classroom documentation accurately and consistently
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with families
- Collaborate with educators, administration and the leadership team
- Follow Alberta Child Care Licensing requirements and B-Smart policies and procedures

Required Qualifications
- Alberta Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check, or ability to obtain one
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate early learning practices
- Solid English communication skills
- Dependable, punctual and professional
- Able to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities
