Casual Respite Housekeeper

We're seeking a friendly, responsible person to help with a casual, part-time housekeeping role — perfect for someone looking for a few extra hours a month. This position involves assisting families with disabilities by keeping their homes clean and welcoming, on a flexible, as-needed basis.

MUST BE OK WITH LARGE DOGS

Jobs may include cleaning and organizing homes, including disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens

Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

Do laundry, ironing, and change bed linens

Tidy up common areas and living spaces

Must be able to follow family instructions and prioritize their needs effectively. A proactive self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or related fields is required





Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products is helpful

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently, as you will be alone.

Strong attention to detail

Good communication skills

Physical stamina to perform tasks like bending, lifting, and standing for periods

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a very casual, adaptable schedule
