Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical engineering professionals.
Manage engineering resources, workloads, priorities, and project schedules to support customer commitments and delivery requirements.
Oversee engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, including concept development, detailed design, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning.
Ensure engineering solutions meet technical specifications, budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
Promote design standardization, manufacturability, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, assembly, service, sales, project management, and external suppliers.
Lead technical and design reviews to ensure alignment across engineering and operations.
Review technical specifications, engineering estimates, quotations, and material requirements in support of project planning and proposals.
Monitor project schedules, engineering budgets, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions.
Provide leadership in troubleshooting complex technical issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Establish departmental goals, performance expectations,
and development plans while supporting succession planning and employee growth
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
5–10+ years of progressive engineering experience within industrial machinery, automation, custom equipment, OEM, or capital equipment environments.
5-10+ years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing engineering resources, project schedules, competing priorities, and cross-functional project execution.
Strong understanding of machine design, manufacturing processes, and electro-mechanical systems.
Working knowledge of industrial controls, automation integration, and equipment troubleshooting.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities.
Proven ability to lead and develop technical professionals while maintaining accountability for project deliverables.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, commercial teams, suppliers, and customers.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced, engineered-to-order environment
