Enrollment Advisor The Enrollment Advisor represents the Medforth Global Education (MGE) Admissions team and serves as an important first point of contact for prospective students considering St. George’s University (SGU), creating a welcoming, informative, and supportive experience from the beginning of their admissions journey.

The Enrollment Advisor engages prospective students through phone, email, text, and other communication channels to understand their interests and educational goals, provide accurate information about SGU and its programs, answer questions, address initial barriers, and encourage next steps in the application process.

Working closely with Admissions Officers, Recruiters, and other members of the Admissions team, the Enrollment Advisor builds early relationships, provides consistent follow-up, and connects prospective students with the appropriate resources as they progress through the admissions process.

The Enrollment Advisor utilizes Salesforce and other technology platforms to document interactions, manage follow-up, and support a seamless prospective student experience.

Essential Functions

Prospective Student Engagement

- Serve as an initial point of contact for prospective students, creating a welcoming, informative, and supportive experience.
- Conduct inbound and outbound outreach through phone, email, text, live chat, and other communication channels to engage and build relationships with prospective students.
- Understand prospective students’ educational goals and interests and connect them with relevant SGU programs and differentiators.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely information about SGU programs, services, and the admissions process.
- Provide a high level of customer service through timely, professional and helpful communication.

Student Support & Progression

- Assist prospective students in identifying next steps, providing consistent follow-up to encourage progress toward application.
- Identify questions, concerns, or barriers that may impact a prospective student’s ability to move forward and provide appropriate support or escalation.
- Take ownership of prospective student inquiries by addressing questions and connecting students with appropriate resources, recruitment events, and other opportunities to learn more about SGU.
- Maintain current knowledge of SGU programs, services and admissions processes and communicate information with confidence and transparency.

Collaboration

- Partner closely with Admissions Officers, Recruiters and other members of the Admissions team to support a seamless prospective student experience.
- Facilitate referrals and escalate questions, concerns, or student needs requiring additional support or expertise.
- Maintain regular communication with Admissions and Recruitment teams to support prospective student engagement and progression.

Communication & Data Management

- Maintain accurate and timely records of prospective student interactions, follow-up activities, and progress in Salesforce.
- Utilize multiple technology and communication platforms to support outreach, engagement, and follow-up.




- Manage an assigned caseload and follow-up activities in accordance with established outreach and service expectations.

Other Duties

- Provide coverage for admissions functions as needed to ensure uninterrupted service to applicants.
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by leadership.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and follow-up activities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to listen, understand needs, and respond with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM; experience with Ellucian Banner or other student information systems preferred.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Education, Human Services, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in higher education, admissions, recruitment, counseling, customer service, sales, or a related student- or customer-facing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and providing a high level of service to students, customers, or clients.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

- Professional office environment with frequent use of computers, phones, and online platforms.
- Ability to sustain focus in a high-volume admissions setting

Hours & Travel

- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with standard hours of 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and one scheduled 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. shift per week. Hours may vary based on time zone and business needs.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak recruitment and admissions cycles.
- Flexibility to work with prospective students across U.S. and Canadian time zones.
- Occasional travel may be required for recruitment events, orientations, training, or applicant support.

- Prospective Student Experience: Prospective students receive a welcoming, responsive, and supportive experience and feel valued throughout their interactions with SGU.
- Engagement & Progression: Prospective students are consistently engaged and supported in taking appropriate next steps toward application.




- Responsiveness & Follow-Up: Student inquiries and assigned follow-up activities are addressed in a timely, consistent, and professional manner.
- Caseload Management: Assigned prospective student caseloads are actively managed with appropriate outreach, follow-up, and prioritization.
- Data Quality: Student interactions, outcomes, and follow-up activities are accurately and consistently documented in Salesforce.
- Effective Collaboration & Handoffs: Prospective students are appropriately connected to Admissions Officers, Recruitment Managers, and other resources to ensure continuity and a seamless admissions experience.

The anticipated salary range for the role is USD $49,000 to $59,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary and will be determined based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and education of the successful candidate. This information is provided per local law. Upon offer and hire, this salary will be converted to local CAD currency.
