Employment Type
Full-Time
Position Summary The Equipment and Yard Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the readiness, maintenance, repair, movement, storage and organization of Maple Site Solutions Inc.’s construction equipment, vehicles, specialized tooling and yard operations.
The position works closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure that Maple’s equipment, tooling, materials, parts and consumables are available and properly prepared to support project requirements.
The Equipment and Yard Coordinator's primary focus is the physical condition, readiness and movement of equipment and tooling, including preventative maintenance coordination, equipment inspections, repair coordination, project mobilizations and demobilizations, transportation logistics and overall yard organization.
The Inventory Manager retains primary responsibility for Maple’s inventory management system, including inventory quantities, cataloguing, stock records, receiving, inventory reconciliation and storage-location records.
Inventory Manager Backup Responsibility The Equipment and Yard Coordinator will also be trained to act as the designated backup to the Inventory Manager during vacation, illness, scheduled absence or other periods when the Inventory Manager is unavailable.

- Coordinating approved replenishment requirements with Administration and Operations.
- Maintaining inventory documentation and records.

- Ensuring continuity of normal inventory operations until the Inventory Manager returns.
The Equipment and Yard Coordinator is therefore expected to maintain sufficient familiarity with Maple’s inventory systems, storage locations, documentation procedures and purchasing processes to provide effective temporary coverage when required. During normal operations, the Equipment and Yard Coordinator and Inventory Manager are expected to work as complementary positions with clearly defined areas of primary responsibility, while remaining cross-trained sufficiently to maintain continuity of operations.
