As an Esthetician at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, you will be among the most skilled and trained skin therapists in the world, providing each client with exceptional service and results. You are an expert at resolving skin care concerns, and you will customize each facial to your client’s individual needs. You will prescribe our professional skincare products and promote our exclusive lifestyle membership program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a warm, welcoming, and memorable client experience.
- Greet every client in a friendly, professional, and inviting manner.
- Consult with clients before each treatment, explain the recommended service, and suggest appropriate enhancements or add-ons.
- Educate clients on the health and wellness benefits of facials and recommend personalized skincare routines, treatment frequency, and professional products based on their needs.
- Recommend, promote, and sell skincare products and pull recommended products for clients to purchase.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all spa services, skincare products, treatment offerings, packages, and current promotions, and confidently promote them to clients.
- Follow up with clients by phone, text, and email to check on their experience, answer questions, encourage rebooking, and build lasting client relationships.
- Promote spa services, special offers, packages, events, and promotions through the spa’s Instagram and Facebook channels while maintaining a professional and consistent brand image.
- Create engaging social media content featuring facial services, skincare products,



promotions, and client education.
- Support daily spa operations by maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming treatment rooms, common areas, and service areas.
- Assist with preparing massage and facial rooms between appointments, ensuring rooms are clean, sanitized, properly set up, and ready for the next client.
- Fold, organize, and restock laundry and linens, and ensure treatment rooms and supply stations are adequately stocked.
- Communicate relevant client preferences, updates, treatment notes, and follow-up information to the Spa Associate or Spa Manager to keep client records accurate and up to date.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic while working collaboratively with the spa team.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Esthetic diploma or equivalent
- College body work / Massage training
- Knowledge of skincare lines (Dermalogica) and products
- Effective sales techniques and retail experience an asset
- Outstanding and customer service skills
- Schedule flexibility
- Strong team player

Compensation: From $18 per hour (based on experience and skills) Commissions and Tips
