Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator Autobody to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for assessing vehicle damage, providing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Your mechanical knowledge, dealership experience, and customer service skills will drive efficient operations and foster positive relationships with clients.

Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of autobody repairs needed
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines
- Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and parts departments to coordinate repairs and parts procurement
- Assist in upselling additional services or repairs that benefit the customer while increasing shop revenue




- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair progress

Requirements

- Proven dealership or autobody shop experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify vehicle damage accurately
- Excellent customer service skills to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction
- Sales aptitude with experience in upselling services or repairs when appropriate
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and tools used in collision repair shops
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately
- Strong communication skills to explain technical details clearly to customers and team members
