Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and track tenders and bid submissions
- Organize drawings, specifications, and bid packages
- Perform material takeoffs, including steel components
- Identify steel shapes, sizes, and materials
- Assist in weight calculations and material costing
- Source pricing and obtain supplier quotes
- Support estimators and sales team with bids
- Maintain bid schedules and deadlines
- Follow up on bids and maintain communication
- Support engineering documentation and contracts
- Assist with order entry and coordination

Technical Requirements




- Understanding of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Knowledge of HSS, pipe, angles, channels, plates, W-beams
- Ability to read drawings and steel designations
- Understanding of material dimensions and applications
- Assist in quantity and cost calculations
