About the Caetani Cultural Centre The Caetani Cultural Centre Society (CCCS) is the steward of one of British Columbia's most unique cultural and heritage assets. Operating from the historic 125-year-old Caetani House—a 6,000-square-foot designated heritage home situated on 1.3 acres in Vernon's Lower East Hill—the Society preserves and shares the extraordinary legacy of the Caetani family while fostering creativity, learning, and community engagement through arts, culture, and heritage programming.
Owned by the City of Vernon and operated by the Caetani Cultural Centre Society, the Centre welcomes hundreds of visitors each year through guided and self-guided tours, exhibitions, artist residencies, educational programs, workshops, festivals, and community events. At the heart of the collection is Sveva Caetani's internationally significant Recapitulation series, permanently returned to the Centre after more than 35 years with the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, along with archival collections and artifacts that tell the remarkable story of the Caetani family.
