MTS17 Auto Repair is a growing automotive repair shop in Mississauga built around a simple idea: car repairs should not be confusing or unnecessarily stressful. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician or Mechanic to join our growing team. An Ontario 310S licence is not required, but applicants must have strong hands-on automotive repair experience and be able to complete common mechanical work confidently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical or performance-related problems
- Perform general automotive repairs and scheduled maintenance
- Complete oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension work, and other common repairs
- Assist with engine, steering, heating, and air-conditioning repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to help identify vehicle issues
- Explain findings and repair needs clearly to the service team
- Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately
- Follow shop safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with licensed technicians and other team members
Requirements
- Preferably 2-3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair skills
- Experience working on different vehicle makes and models
- Ability to diagnose and complete common automotive repairs
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s licence is preferred
- Personal tools are not required
