Overview

We are seeking experienced Equipment Transport and Heavy Haul Truck Drivers who thrive on precision, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks equipped for transporting large equipment and freight over long distances or within complex job sites
- Securely load, unload, and secure heavy machinery
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo before and after trips to ensure safety compliance and proper handling
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, site managers, and clients regarding delivery schedules, delays or issues during transport




- Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, delivery logs, inspection reports, and compliance records

Experience

- Proven experience, minimum 5 years, as a commercial truck driver specializing in heavy haul or equipment transport
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols related to heavy machinery transportation
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting on trucks or trailers as needed
- Strong understanding of route planning, navigation tools, and regulatory compliance standards for commercial drivers
