Experienced Dishwasher / Kitchen Support El Patron Mexican Grill – Tecumseh, ON El Patron Mexican Grill is looking for a reliable, mature and experienced Dishwasher / Kitchen Support team member to join our busy restaurant.

This position is an important part of our kitchen operation. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works with a sense of urgency, keeps their area organized, and understands the demands of working in a quick-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and sanitary throughout the shift
- Ensure clean dishes and kitchen equipment are returned quickly to the proper stations
- Remove garbage and recycling as required
- Maintain clean floors and work areas
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Help the kitchen team with basic support tasks when required
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
- Communicate with kitchen staff to keep service running efficiently

What We Are Looking For
- Previous restaurant dishwashing or kitchen experience is strongly preferred
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record
- Mature, responsible and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen




- Able to stay organized during high-volume periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to help the team
- Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks without constant supervision
- Positive and respectful attitude
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant cleaning and dishwashing duties
