Job Overview

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A COOK AT A SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT IS MANDATORY (SHOULD KNOW HOW TO COOK DOSA AND OTHER MENU ITEMS). PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED IN MAKING DOSAS. We are seeking an Experienced Dosa Cook who is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about traditional Indian food preparation.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dosas and other Indian delicacies, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Your expertise in food handling, cooking, and serving will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of dosas with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including ingredient measurement, mixing, batter fermentation, and cooking techniques
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to ensure excellent customer satisfaction




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen team
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth operations

Experience

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of dosa preparation techniques and Indian cuisine fundamentals
- Prior experience in serving customers in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and learning
