Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex real estate transactions, provide expert legal advice on property matters, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing agreements, and development projects, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

This position offers an exciting prospect to work on diverse real estate portfolios and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.

Duties

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate contracts including purchase agreements, lease agreements, easements, and development agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw to stay current on property law updates and regulatory changes affecting real estate transactions.
- Perform due diligence investigations on properties, including title searches, zoning analyses, environmental assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Advise clients and internal stakeholders on legal risks associated with property transactions and development projects.
- Manage negotiations with buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords, lenders,



and other parties to secure favorable terms while maintaining professional relationships.
- Prepare comprehensive legal drafting documents that clearly articulate rights, obligations, and contingencies for all parties involved.
- Collaborate with external counsel when specialized legal issues arise or complex litigation is involved.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Real Estate Lawyer with a strong track record in handling commercial and residential property transactions.
- Excellent research skills with proficiency in Westlaw or similar legal research platforms.
- Strong negotiation abilities combined with exceptional writing skills for drafting clear and precise legal documents.
- In-depth understanding of property law, zoning regulations, environmental laws, and contractual obligations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively advise clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
