CAREER OPPORTUNITY : Warehouse Cleaner

Morning Shift : Mon to Fri - 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm

Location : Kennedy and Britannia

- Clean warehouse floors, aisles and all warehouse working areas
- Collect all waste paper and recyclables in assigned area daily and deposit into appropriate containers
- Assist in summer clean up duties, moving and lifting items to create a safe working zone
- Clean, dust, dry mop and/or vacuum
- Report any problems or issues to shift supervisor
- Clean glass surfaces as necessary
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas
- Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and reporting equipment in need of repair to the Manager following standard procedure
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor





Educational /Technical Experience:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

- An applicant must have at least one year of cleaner experience in previous job
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Ability to work in the cold temperature for full shift
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Valuable organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
