Role Description

Role Description: We are seeking an expert evaluator of Climate Change Adaptation to join a team of researchers for a project in the Caribbean.

This project aims to evaluate the scope of the results obtained during the implementation of the Adaptation Fund as well as their alignment with and contribution to the Government's Strategic Results Framework.

Interested candidates are required to submit, along with their application:

1. Full cv, showing proof of over 5 years experience with evaluations of climate change adaptation
2. Details on at last 4 programmes, in which they have had leading roles. Please provide a summary on each assignments; methods employed and outcomes
3.



Documentation on experience in institutional assessments, community based engagements and assessments; programme and project reviews, results-framework analysis and mixed-methods evaluations

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including the ability to present complex climate and evaluation findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to design evaluation frameworks and interpret climate adaptation data.
- Candidates should possess proven Data Collection experience, including field data, stakeholder interviews, and document review, using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in climate science, environmental studies, development studies, public policy, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience evaluating climate change adaptation projects or resilience programs in low- or middle-income contexts is highly desirable.
- Experience in the Caribbean is a distinct asset.
