Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations using medical terminology accurately.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing your hospital experience and acute care expertise.
- Manage medication administration, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting treatments as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform procedures related to pain management and other minor interventions within your scope of practice.
- Coordinate patient care plans, including referrals for specialized services such as pediatrics or home care when necessary.
- Collect and analyze health data to monitor patient progress and improve treatment strategies through effective data collection methods.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.




- Participate in research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing clinical practices and patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care across hospital settings, outpatient clinics, and community resources.

Qualifications

- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a Family Physician.
- Proven hospital experience with a strong background in acute care settings.
- Experience in pain management techniques and procedures is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pediatric care practices and the ability to address the unique needs of children and their families.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation standards, and electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Prior experience in medical office environments with skills in patient care coordination and data collection.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and home care procedures to support ongoing patient recovery at home.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly to patients of all ages.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented workplace while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compassion.
