Summary
Responsible for coordinating materials, equipment, and field cost tracking activities to support construction projects. Ensures accurate inventory management, material delivery, labor/equipment reporting, cost coding, and documentation while supporting project controls, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, storage, and inventory control.
- Maintain material tracking systems and inventory records.
- Validate daily labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor tickets (LEMS).
- Ensure alignment with WBS, cost codes, contracts, and project controls standards.
- Verify contract rates, markups, T&M; documentation, and change work.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to materials, costs, and field reporting.
- Maintain accurate records, audit trails, and document control requirements.
- Support cost reporting earned value tracking, forecasting, accruals, and month-end activities.
- Produce reports on labor hours,
equipment utilization, material consumption, and subcontractor performance.
- Collaborate with project teams, procurement, accounting, and contractors to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in material coordination, project controls, cost control, field administration, or construction support.
- Experience with LEMS, ERP systems, inventory management, and subcontract administration.
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of WBS/CBS structures, cost coding, earned value, and contract administration.
- Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in rapid-paced construction and industrial environments.
