Current York City-based Popwheels Battery Swap Network offers food delivery workers “endless power” through safe, certified batteries available 24/7 from a network of charge cabinets across cities. We are currently in the pilot stage of operations in Toronto, looking to grow from our initial location at Queen / Jarvis across the downtown in 2026/27. We are looking for a part-time Field Tech to provide on-the-ground assistance to our Operations team, including light clean-up of cabinet areas, trouble shooting, setting up & moving batteries as needed.

The role starts with a 2 hours per week minimum, with some project work available as new cabinets arrive in the city. As the cabinets / network grows, work per week will grow (about 10 hrs / wk projected in the next 3-9 months).



Access to a car is needed occasionally to move equipment to/from storage downtown.

- Access to a car occasionally (no additional reimbursement)
- Light clean up around cabinets, trouble shooting cabinets with HQ, redistribute batteries / equipment, and other assistance as needed.
