Financial Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities of Rogers Foods. The incumbent provides accurate, timely, and forward-looking financial insight to support operational and strategic decision making. Working closely with the Director of Finance, Corporate Controller and operational leaders, to strengthen financial discipline, improve visibility into cost drivers and profitability, and support the long-term sustainability of Rogers Foods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supports the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

· Prepares financial analysis, variance explanations, and management reporting to support business decisions.

· Develops and maintains financial models related to product costing, customer profitability, and operational performance.

· Assists in monitoring and improving cost controls, margins, and key financial performance indicators.

· Provides analytical support to Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain teams on cost drivers, pricing, and efficiency initiatives.





· Supports month-end and year-end close activities, including analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules, subject to appropriate review controls.

· Assists in audit preparation and responds to auditor inquiries as required.

· Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function, including process documentation and cross-training.

· Supports company values, mission statement, and strategic direction.

· Carries out additional duties and projects assigned.

· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

· Enrolled in, or actively pursuing, the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

· 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented workplace and manage multiple priorities.
