Contribute to the future of robotics with Humanoid as a Firmware and Embedded Software Engineer. Develop critical embedded systems that ensure our humanoid robots operate safely and reliably. This Vancouver-based role requires advanced skills in embedded software development and real-time programming.
You’ll be responsible for creating software for subsystems vital to robotic motion control, communication networks, and hardware interfaces. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will enhance the performance and safety of our robots in real-world applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software emphasizing real-time performance and reliability
- Integrate hardware and software components for robotic systems
- Write firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs
- Implement and manage communication protocols like EtherCAT and CAN
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
- 5+ years in embedded software or firmware development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field
- Robust proficiency in C, C++, and Python
- Experience with RTOS and communication protocols
- Familiarity with debugging tools
