Whether you are an experienced instructor or a strong communicator eager to step into the field, we provide full training and will help you gain your instructor certifications.

What You’ll Do

- Classroom Instruction: Teach engaging, high-standard Canadian Red Cross First Aid courses, Canadian Red Cross Youth courses, and Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) to diverse audiences, assessing practical skills and building student confidence.
- In-Class Upselling: Introduce students to additional course offerings and connect interested clients with our sales team.
- Community Outreach: Visit local Red Deer businesses to introduce us as their new neighbors, drop off informational flyers, and build local relationships.
- Events & Trade Shows: Represent Big Hearts First Aid at career fairs, trade shows, and community events. You’ll actively initiate conversations, run interactive first-aid booths,



capture business leads, and drive course sign-ups (full event engagement training provided).

What We’re Looking For

- Outgoing, approachable personality with high confidence in public speaking and community networking.
- Passion for safety, teaching, and helping others learn life-saving skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and self-starter skills to help launch a new territory.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to attend local events and business visits.

Qualifications & Certifications

- Certifications: Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor, Canadian Red Cross Youth Instructor, Heart & Stroke BLS Instructor, or Red Cross Standard First Aid is preferred, but not required.
- Training Included: We will fund and guide the right candidate through the necessary training to teach Canadian Red Cross First Aid, Red Cross Youth programs, and Heart & Stroke BLS, securing official certifications and mastering event engagement strategies.
