Fix It Specialist Maintenance

- - - Are you a handyman? Like to figure things out? Gateway Resources is hiring a person to join our Maintenance team. We are seeking someone who wants to work in an workplace where you can go from fixing a washing machine to fixing big machinery. We are looking for someone to work in our organization helping trouble shoot issues and work to maintain a safe environment for our residents and staff.

This position is Full time (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday. Minimal weekend work may be required. There is some travel between locations in Winkler and Morden.

Job Requirements

Experience in general maintenance with knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry

Experience in general forklift maintenance

Experience with equipment, such as tractor and forklifts

Experience with welding

Trouble shoot various types of equipment. (Saws,



balers, conveyors…)

Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties would include snow removal and tilling the garden/lawn maintenance

Demonstrated aptitude for assigned responsibilities.

Physically fit and able to perform assigned responsibilities.

Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Valid Driver's License.

Must be willing to submit a clear Criminal Reference and Adult abuse registry check
