Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Flight Control Systems IPT Head to lead FCS development and integration for advanced aircraft/eVTOL programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Flight Control Systems (FCS) IPT and own scope, schedule, cost, quality, and technical delivery.

- Define FCS architecture, including fly-by-wire/fly-by-light, actuation, sensors, and interfaces.

- Lead control law development, flight dynamics, stability & control analysis, gain scheduling, and redundancy management.

- Coordinate with Avionics, Software, Systems, Aerodynamics, Structures, Integration, and V&V; teams.

- Lead MIL, SIL, HIL, Iron Bird, ground, and flight testing.

- Manage requirements, SRD, ICDs, simulation models, and certification deliverables.

- Ensure compliance with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C,



and DO-254.

- Drive FHA, FMEA, FTA, fault-tolerant, fail-safe, and redundant FCS architectures.

- Support FAA/EASA certification, technical reviews, RFQs, proposals, and stakeholder management.

- Lead distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams and manage technical risks and dependencies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Control Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

- Solid experience in flight control systems, aircraft systems, control laws, systems integration, and aerospace certification.
