Duties
- Design and assemble floral arrangements tailored to client specifications, seasonal themes, and event requirements
- Select and source high-quality flowers, foliage, and decorative elements to ensure vibrant and lasting displays
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance on floral choices and arrangements
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace ensuring all tools and materials are sanitized and properly stored
- Manage inventory levels of flowers and supplies, placing orders as needed to meet demand
- Stay current with floral trends, techniques, and industry best practices through continuous learning and experimentation
- Assist with setting up floral displays for events, weddings, or retail environments to create visually stunning presentations
- Keeping the front and back of the shop clean and organized
- Cleaning flowers and preparing them for floral design work
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, or more minimal experience with the willingness to train and learn
- Understanding use of floral software, or willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Understanding of technology is preferred
- VALID drivers license and reliable vehicle is required
- Must be allowed to work in Canada
