Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, takes their orders, and ensures they receive prompt, courteous service. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen workspace, and dining space by following sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to meet health regulations.
- Assist in restocking supplies,



managing inventory levels, and organizing food items for quick service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
