Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing components of dishes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Ensure all food is stored correctly, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Help with plating and presentation of meals to ensure visual appeal and quality standards are met




- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
- Support serving staff during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic meal assembly as needed

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable with good time management skills to meet preparation deadlines during busy service hours
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
