Mary Brown’s St. Albert is a locally operated restaurant committed to serving delicious food and providing genuine hospitality to every guest. We are looking for a responsible, motivated, and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team and help lead our restaurant operations.

The Opportunity

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant. You will lead by example, support team members, maintain food and service standards, and help ensure each shift runs efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside the team while taking responsibility for shift organization, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and overall restaurant standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
- Ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and according to company standards
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Accurately process customer orders through the POS system
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, promotions, and procedures
- Prepare, assemble, and package food orders accurately and efficiently
- Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure orders are complete and accurate before being served to customers
- Coordinate communication between the front counter, kitchen, and management team
- Assign and prioritize tasks to team members during the shift
- Train, coach, and support employees as required
- Monitor employee performance, attendance,



and adherence to workplace procedures
- Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
- Handle opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as directed by management

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or restaurant workplace
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
- Fluent in English
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Food safety certification is an asset

Experience

- Supervising: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
