The salary range for this position is CAD $25.82 - $25.82 / hour

Detailed Overview

Under the direction of the Food Services Supervisor I, is responsible for checking patient trays to ensure accuracy, and performs assigned food service worker duties.

Responsibilities

- Sets up trayline checker station.

- Assembles late trays, as requested.

- Checks items on patient meal trays against the patients' meal tickets, to ensure accuracy of food items on the meal trays.

- Makes necessary adjustments to food items on meal trays to ensure accuracy.

- Prepares cold food items such as salads, puddings and jello.

- Portions and assembles food and beverage items for trayline.

- Cleans work area and equipment.

- Records temperatures as per HACCP regulations.





- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and ExperienceGrade 10, plus one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Food Protected

Level 1 Certification.
