Role Description As a Founding Software Engineer — AI & Full Stack at Moatira Inc., you will work directly with the founder and take significant ownership of product development and technical implementation.

This is a hands-on, full-stack role. You should be comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure. You will evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and frameworks, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability and security across the stack. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON,



where you will help establish engineering best practices and mentor future team members.

Qualifications

- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills.
- Experience with React and modern full-stack web development.
- Backend, API, SQL, and relational database experience.
- Experience building and deploying production software.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI application development.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms, managed services, and serverless architectures.
- Ability to independently take a feature from idea to production.
- Ability to learn and evaluate new technologies quickly.
- Pragmatic engineering judgment and an ability to avoid unnecessary complexity.
- Experience with workflow platforms such as Vercel Workflow, AWS Step Functions, Temporal, or similar tools.
- Experience with AI agents, structured LLM outputs, evaluation, or orchestration.
