Please Note: This position requires regular travel between worksites. Applicants must have reliable transportation to meet the operational requirements of the role.

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Framer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on residential and light commercial construction projects, completing framing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Hour:8am-6Pm, 1 hour lunch break, 0.5h paid, overtime pay, vacation pay. telehandler on site.

Options to be added in payroll or subcontracting. we are currently working a three story custom home at Sherwood Park area. Must be able to work on roof and truss.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and assemble wood framing for residential and light commercial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications.
- Measure, cut, and install framing materials accurately.
- Build walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and other structural components.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.





Qualifications

- Previous framing or general construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use common construction tools.
- Physically capable of lifting, working at heights, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- Robust work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

- Reliable transportation is required. Employees are responsible for getting to various job sites, which may change depending on project needs.
- Steel-toe boots and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
