Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated freelance optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic tools to assess visual acuity and eye health
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, tailored to individual needs
- Manage pediatric patients with specialized care strategies to ensure comfort and effective treatment
- Provide comprehensive patient care by explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures clearly
- Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting patient records and communicating with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic for efficient data entry and retrieval
- Offer expert advice on eye health,



including senior care considerations and managing age-related conditions
- Support sales efforts by recommending appropriate eyewear products that meet patient needs and preferences

Experience

- Proven experience as an optometrist with a strong background in optical practices and patient care
- Experience working with pediatric populations and senior patients to address diverse eye health concerns
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to eye health diagnostics and treatments
- Prior use of electronic health record systems like Epic is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided
- Knowledge of sales techniques related to eyewear products is a plus but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
