Eagleeye Bookkeeping Inc. is looking for an Intermediate Bookkeeper who is accountable, resourceful, and confident managing multiple client files. We value thoughtful work, clear communication, and people who follow through on their responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Complete full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including transaction entry, bank and credit card reconciliations, and account review.
- Prepare GST/PST returns, process payroll, and prepare payroll remittances within your assigned responsibilities and approval requirements.
- Complete month-end procedures and prepare financial and management reports for review.
- Prepare organized year-end working papers and supporting schedules.
- Manage your assigned workflow, track deadlines, and communicate missing information or potential delays early.
- Handle authorized client communications professionally, with clear questions and practical next steps.
- Follow company SOPs and use available reference materials before seeking guidance.
- Record time accurately and promptly, ensuring all billable work is captured against the correct client file.
- Use qualified judgment to move files forward and escalate concerns that require senior review.
- Use approved technology and AI tools responsibly while protecting client confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bookkeeping Technician Certificate or a higher qualification in bookkeeping or accounting.
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification.
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Advanced Certification.
- Practical bookkeeping experience and the ability to manage routine client work with limited supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel; experience with Sage or Xero is an asset.
- Experience with reconciliations, payroll, GST/PST, month-end procedures, and year-end preparation.
Employment is conditional on:
- Successful completion of a criminal record check, assessed in relation to the responsibilities of the position.
- Satisfactory reference checks with at least two professional references.
At least one reference must have direct knowledge of your bookkeeping work and be able to comment specifically on your bookkeeping duties and performance.

How We Work
Our team relies on each member to be dependable, prepared, and available for their scheduled work. This position requires regular availability for a 40-hour workweek in our Kelowna office.
You’ll take ownership of your assigned files while working with Senior Bookkeepers and management for review and guidance. You may assist junior colleagues within your demonstrated abilities, but this position does not carry formal team-lead responsibilities.
