Full-time Human Resources Advisor at Thermea Spa Village Whitby
Guest experiences start with great employee experiences. At Thermea Spa Village Whitby, our HR team is at the heart of creating a workplace where people feel supported, heard and able to do their best work. We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor who loves working with people, isn’t afraid to jump into the day-to-day, and can balance empathy with sound judgement and accountability.
We have taken the spa experience and transformed it into a wellness village.
Thermea Spa Village
Whitby is familiar, feels like home and allows its guests to escape the hectic pace of modern life. Our spa village is the first of its kind, with state-of-the-art installations and at its core, buildings reminiscent of a distant past, when life was strongly connected with nature and steeped in traditions. Our spa village, a twist on traditional spa culture, combines unique experiences inspired by rituals found around the globe with a distinctively Canadian character—a peaceful hideaway for our guests, not too far from home.
Our mission is to give our guests a moment’s rest by offering them refuge, away from the pressures of modern life where they may rediscover their own well-being. Your role as an artisan of our spa village is to cultivate peace. We are passionate and dedicated team players here at Thermea Spa Village. Always enthusiastic, helpful, conscientious, discrete—and most of all, respectful. We deeply care about everyone—guests and fellow artisans alike.
It takes a village, join us.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Advisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality HR support to managers and employees across a range of programs and services. Working closely with our corporate payroll department, this role also helps ensure smooth and accurate pay administration.
We are currently seeking a passionate HR Advisor in Whitby, Ontario to join our village.

- Champion a safe workplace by co-chairing the JHSC and enhancing spa wide safety protocols;
- Support a healthy and safe environment by facilitating WSIB claims, overseeing disability management and supporting in the return to work and accommodation process;
- Bring learning to life by creating and delivering practical HR training for our leaders and teams;

- Help build strong teams by providing back up recruitment support during busy seasons;
- Perform other related tasks as required.

Your qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management, or a related field;
