The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a full -time ( 1.0 FTE) Interim teacher at Westmount School and Golden Hills School Division in Strathmore, AB, for the 2026/2027 school year. The teaching assignment is for: 0.5 FTE Grade 6 Teacher (Math and English Language Arts) and 0.5 FTE Division Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher.

The Division Literacy and Numeracy Support position (0.5 FTE) is a outstanding opportunity for first- or second-year teachers, as it develops strong literacy and numeracy instruction and assessment skills.



This position will focus on developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills in young students through a research-based program and small-group instruction in Strathmore.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong 21st century teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement, critical thinking skills, inquiry, and the use of technology as a learning tool.
