Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental team. In this role, you will provide high-quality dental hygiene services, promote patient oral health, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a robust attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Duties

- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist with patient examinations and recordkeeping using dental software such as AKITU ONE
- Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols




- Manage patient appointments, follow-up care, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, including bilingual patients, to ensure understanding of treatment procedures and oral health recommendations

Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience with AKITU ONE or similar dental practice management software is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
