Salary & Hours

This position is paid $64,929 per school year and will be prorated based on operational days remaining in the school year. This role would work 7.5 hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

About the Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Substitute Teacher to join our team starting right away for the 2026/2026 School Year. The Teacher in this role will support students across all school divisions when additional classroom assistance is required, or teacher absences occur. This is an excellent opportunity for new teachers eager to gain valuable experience.

This position also offers professional development opportunities and the chance to transition into a full-time teaching position for the right candidate if a classroom position becomes available.

This position requires a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or Interim Alberta Teaching Certificate and a positive outcome on a current Criminal Record Check, inclusive of the Vulnerable Sector.
