Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel Limited in Toronto is seeking a Part-Time Funeral Director's Assistant. This person must possess excellent communications, interpersonal and customer service skills, have the ability to work within a team atmosphere and have exceptional attention to detail and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Previous experience is an asset.

Requirements for this position include, but not limited to;

- Transfer deceased from the place of death which includes hospitals, nursing homes and private residences to the funeral home
- Assisting with the dressing, casketing and care of the deceased
- Drive company vehicles with or without passengers, as required
- Assist the Funeral Director in conducting funeral services in our chapel, a church,



or graveside or other location as required
- Set-up, remove items required for a funeral service including floral tributes to/from various locations
- Perform other duties as required
