Responsibilities

- Use hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, mow, weed, and maintain garden beds, lawns, and landscaped areas
- Implement landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, mulching, fertilizing, and aerating soil to promote healthy growth
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Monitor plant health regularly, identify pests or diseases, and apply appropriate horticultural treatments
- Assist in designing and installing new gardens or landscape features according to project specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, trimming overgrowth,



and tidying up tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols when operating machinery or handling chemicals to ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications

- Proven experience with gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes
- Ability to operate power tools including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation controllers
- Knowledge of plant care practices, pest management, and soil health principles
- Solid understanding of irrigation systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when needed
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape care
