Pioneer Plant Co. is looking for the right person to grow with the business. This is more than a typical landscaping position — I'm looking for someone who wants to learn the hands-on work and eventually learn how to lead jobs and run the business side too.

No experience required — I'm willing to train the right person.

What you'll learn

- Gardening and plant care
- Planting and garden maintenance
- Hedge, shrub and ornamental pruning
- Landscape cleanups
- Client communication
- Quoting, scheduling and job planning
- Marketing and business operations

I'm looking for someone who is:

A valid driver's licence is strongly preferred. $23–$30/hour, depending on experience and responsibility

Part time — approximately 3 days / 20–25 hours per week





3-month trial period

Landscaping is seasonal, so winter is slower and hours can fluctuate with weather and workload. There may be opportunities to work on the business side during slower periods.

Long-term opportunity: For the right person, there is potential to grow into a leadership/management role and potentially buy into or acquire the business in the future.
